Introduction
It started in 1991, in a lounge and a garden shed, with one woman who refused to accept that some children would be denied a real start in life. Over 35 years later, Play-with-a-Purpose is the world's first early childhood development programme built on a neuro-scientific framework, first to be ISO 21001 in South Africa, setting the standard for ECD in South Africa.
Founded by Robyn Wienand, a programme designed by a South African for South African children and trained internationally in 13 countries, our flagship programme equips preschool principals and educators through whole-school mentorship, combining neuroscience, business skills, and ongoing support to take preschools from where they are to where they need to be. From Cape Town to Johannesburg and many in between, in affluent preschools and under-resourced communities alike, we deliver the same standard of excellence to every child in our care. Consistently.
